I embarked on my career as an holistic practitioner after I recognized the shortcomings in modern medicine. Seeing patients over the many years of my service in a hospital as an intensive care nurse and in my practice as an Naturopathic Practitioner, I found that the one thing most effective in stimulating the healing process is kindness, compassion and the patient's understanding of a willingness to help.
In 1993, I became a Registered Naturopathic Practitioner and founded a medical clinic in Germany. I became a certified Acupuncturist in 1992. I became a Touch for Health Practitioner in 1996 and a professionally certified Reflexotherapist in 1995 and subsequently obtained my Instructor Certification in both modalities.
Over the years, I also studied and became certified and proficient in many other holistic arms of medicine and alternative therapies, such as Acupuncture, Bach Flower Therapy and Psychokinesiology.
Emigrating to Canada in 2003, I founded my Touch for Health and Reflexology Practice and introduced myself to the Canadian Association of Specialized Kinesiology and the Reflexology Community in British Columbia. Over the following years I became heavily involved in various holistic modalities throughout the Province. I serve on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Association of Specialized Kinesiology.
I am dedicated in promoting Holistic Medicine and alternative therapies in general. I enjoy sharing my knowledge with people at any given opportunity, especially to those who are interested in Touch for Health and Reflexology. I know that most individuals will find an answer to their problems in the natural alternatives that have been provided for all mankind since the beginning of time. It is just a matter of educating and encouraging people to look for the answer to their problem in the library of man‘s knowledge.
