Centering is a blanket term that relates to three different reflex proprioceptive systems in the body that help to identify and maintain a person’s center point. This is important, because if the center point is thrown off, then the ability for the body to know where it is in space physically is compromised. This may also extend out to emotional and metaphysical senses as well, creating further confusion. The results of this can be varied: physical un-coordination resulting in accident prone-ness, pain and dysfunction; mental confusion and inability to make proper decisions and do problem solving; learning difficulty; emotional sensitivity; and just feeling “off-center.”
Centering is one of the earliest sequences of imbalances/corrections from Applied Kinesiology and the work of George Goodheart. It has found its way into Energy Kinesiology in various forms, and due to its importance in so many aspects of health and well being, Applied Physiology includes it in the essential course material. However, to further the depth of these critical systems, the centering concepts are integrated into Applied Physiology’s holographic model. The result of accessing and balancing these systems in this manner provides results that are often profoundly deep and long lasting.
In the Centering Module, you will learn:
* How to check for the three types of centering imbalances – Hyoid Bone, Gaits and Cloacal Reflexes – with related anatomy and physiology appropriate to each.
* New ways of accessing and identifying imbalances with these systems through the acupressure system.
* Further ways of entering relevant information related to found imbalances that activate more neurology around the issues, increasing the depth of what is found. This includes holographic muscle monitoring learned in previous modules.
* How to integrate all aspects of the centering module into a complete balancing system.
Because of their primitive reflexive functions in the body, identifying and balancing centering imbalances can have profound effects on overall function and well-being. As a result, this module gives the practitioner critical tools that will be used often in the office environment for a broad range of issues.
This workhop is usually taught in conjuction with another two day workshop entitled:
Applied Physiology – Amino Acids
In this workshop you will learn how to access stress related to the amino acids and learn how they are the basic building blocks of life. Information in the class manual connects the amino acid information to various imbalances, cranial stress receptors, muscle imbalances, herbs, and more. While there is not very much literature on this workshop, the class should be considered FOUNDATIONAL to every Applied Physiology student, as the results of balancing amino acids for a client can have far reaching effects on the physical, mental, and emotional levels!
