Often, the students have their own share of pains that they have lived with for many years and are seeking relief themselves.
As our recent Touch for Health I class was ending, a student, Idel Hernandez, asked me, “Can you please help me? I have had
constant lower back pain for almost five years. I’ve been to doctors, chiropractors and massage therapists and spent thousands
of dollars and no one can stop the pain. I have to roll out of bed and pull myself up by a chair every morning and can not even
bend over to brush my teeth! Can you help me, please?”
I said, “Sure, let’s give it a try!” Knowing that he had already been balanced several times with the initial 14 TFH I muscles,
I was thinking that I might need to test using some of the other muscles they had not learned in this class. The first of these was
the Abdominal muscles and the second were the Quadratus Lumborum muscles. In the Abdominal muscle test, Idel could not
budge when attempting to sit up. I briefly rubbed the T6 Spinal Reflex and he immediately sat up and was smiling from ear-to-ear!
He said, “I have not been able to do that in years! And the pain is gone!” I then tested and corrected the Quadratus Lumborum
muscles and he sat up even easier. He was elated!
The next day, I asked how he was doing and he was still out of pain and had a great night of sleep for the first time in a long time.
When Idel returned for the TFH II class, I asked him how he was doing? He said the pain stayed away for a week and a half and then
came back on the last day of his vacation while in another country. He then guided his wife through the tests that I had performed
and she was able to do the same that I done and he was immediately out of pain. He was pain free and his wife was astounded
that she had been able to do this herself with his guidance!
In our TFH III class, Idel said that he had also worked on his Mother who had not been able to do a sit-up her entire life. After
working on her for a few minutes, she sat up and was astounded!
